My name is Jeff Huang, and I am a Design Director, Digital Artist, and Visual Artist working under my studio alias – The Fifth Order. We are based in NYC and we specialize in creating compelling visuals for advertising. Here is a biography of my early life and how I came to become the multidisciplinary creative that I am today:
Visual Artist Destiny?
Since I was young, I had a huge passion for fine arts. I would spend countless hours drawing Dragon Ball Z characters and creating new superheroes in his composition notebook. In elementary school, I was recognized for my talent and would draw for my teacher so that I could avoid partaking in class activities. When I was asked what I wanted to be when I grow up, I answered without hesitation that I wanted to be an artist. I don’t think I ever thought I’d be a digital artist, visual artist, design director though!

My passion for art continued to blossom and up until high school, where I continued to pursue my dreams by attending a high school of the arts – LaGuardia H.S in NYC aka the fame school. In my sophomore year there, I randomly stumbled upon 3D abstract art on the internet. It was mesmerizing…the shapes, the reflections, the futuristic outer-worldly atmosphere – I loved everything about it.
It changed his life forever, and it was then, that I realized that I wanted to be a digital artist or visual artist so that I could make these images for a living. I picked up a copy of Photoshop 7 and began to be submerge myself in the digital art world.
From there, I became a active member on DeviantART and other graphic forums. After a year or so, I applied to become a member of international contemporary art collective – Depthcore, and have been a proud member since.
